Privacy Policy
This page explains how Sky-Mutations handles data. If you have questions, see Contact.
Summary
- We store a small amount of data on your device to remember settings (like theme) and supporter mode.
- We may show ads on content pages. Ads can use cookies or similar technologies, depending on your region and settings.
- We use analytics to understand traffic and improve the site. Analytics is not used to identify you personally.
Data stored on your device
Sky-Mutations uses browser storage and cookies for basic functionality:
- Theme & UI settings (e.g., dark mode and layout preferences).
- Supporter mode: if you enter a supporter code, we store a cookie so the site can recognize the device.
- Device identifier: a random ID stored in local storage to help validate supporter codes for that device.
Ads (Google AdSense)
We may monetize some pages with Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads, measure performance, and limit ad frequency.
Supporter mode disables AdSense on your device.
Analytics
We use analytics to understand how the site is used (for example: which pages are popular, how long pages take to load, and what features people use). This helps us improve performance and usability.
What we don’t collect
- We do not ask you to create an account for normal site usage.
- We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.
- We do not sell personal information.
Your choices
- You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings to remove saved preferences and supporter mode.
- If you’ve enabled supporter mode, you can remove it using the “Supporter” button in the footer.
- You can use browser tools or extensions to control cookies and ad personalization.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we’ll update the content on this page.
